“Private Pharmacy, Medical and Engineering Colleges in the Telangana State are Run by Crooks, Mafia, Money Launderers and Politicians” ―Professor M.S.Rao
“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything”― Albert Einstein
Some of the private pharmacy, medical and engineering colleges in the state of Telangana are run by crooks, mafia, money launderers and politicians. They open “private” educational institutions to extract money from parents and students. They focus on branding and marketing rather than on innovation or creativity to provide excellence in education. As the general public and parents don’t understand the hidden motives of these crooks, they respect these private educational institutions due to the sanctity attached to education in India.
Most owners of these private colleges are rogues and crooks who suck blood from students like leeches and don’t pay salaries to their faculty and employees on time. But they claim fee imbursement from government. They demonstrate crocodile tears for not receiving fee imbursement from government on time. They create fake accounts in the name of students to claim more fee reimbursement money from government. They show more salaries to faculty members on records but pay less in reality. They cheat the regulating bodies like All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and their affiliated universities, government of Telangana and the income tax department. They cheat their employees who are intellectuals by showing more salary on their records but pay less. Worse, they collect more tax from employees as mentioned on the records. Some of the employees end up paying more tax to income tax department from their pockets than what they are supposed to pay. Any income tax official can easily identify these irregularities as the managements of these private colleges collect differential payments by taking the signatures of their employees on the withdrawal forms before giving monthly salaries. That means when the salary is credited, the differential amount is immediately debited from their bank accounts. Even the bank officials are aware of these irregularities and corruption. It is the serving teaching and non-teaching employees who must fight against such corruption in colleges. But they don’t fight as they want to lose their employment on arbitrary grounds. The owners of these private colleges who are crooks use goons to settle their scores if employees raise their voice against such malpractices and corruption. Hence, intellectuals and employees are not ready to fight against these crooks and rogues in these private colleges.
It is open secret that the names of faculty members appear in multiple educational institutions in the state of Telangana. Hence, Central Bureau of Instigation must intervene to check corruption and irregularities in these private educational institutions in the state of Telangana. Most private colleges don’t pay the salaries to their leaving employees. It puts the leaving employees on financial hardships. They don’t give service certificate, salary certificate and last pay drawn certificate which will prevent the leaving faculty members from joining employment elsewhere. These crooks and rogues level fictitious cases against the leaving employees to avoid paying salaries for three months. The crooks and rogues of these private pharmacy, medial and engineering are confident of getting out of any cases and complaints as they have close nexus with all the officials in their affiliated universities, regulating bodies and politicians. In fact, they pay huge donations to political parties during elections to keep them in good humor. Ultimately it is the intellectuals and employees in these colleges who suffer.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam rightly remarked, “If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher.” Hence, let us strive hard to free these private colleges from corruption to build a healthy education system where students get quality education and faculty enjoys intellectual ambience with dignity and honor. Jai Hind!

Note: I wrote this article to bring corruption in private colleges. I pioneer the rights of a common man. Let us all intellectuals join this movement to create a better education system to build a strong India.
