The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind | Inspiration | Professor M.S. Rao

Life Is Easy. Why Do We Make It So Hard?

Happy New Year 2021!

“Life is meant for learning, enjoying, and growing, not for litigating.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

Life is simple. Unfortunately, some people make it complicated. They enter into conflicts that are unwanted and uncalled. They invite challenges by interfering with others’ activities. They create problems for themselves and the people around them. Finally, they blame God for all the challenges. God is the greatest scapegoat for them.

I feel life was simple in my childhood. As I grew, I observe life is getting complicated. Technology has brought lots of comforts, but it has distanced the people physically. We must draw a line somewhere in the usage of technology to make life simple and straight. We have several challenges including anxiety and depression globally. Suicides are increasing. People have money, but they cannot enjoy their lives. They run behind something. They search for stones by leaving gems at home.

Conclusion

Be smart. Don't be over-smart. Use your intelligence intelligently to keep things simple and straight. Don't be a litigant. Don’t invite problems for yourself and the people around you. Don't give unsolicited advice. Advise only when asked. Lead your life with simplicity, humility, integrity, and generosity. Life is short. Make it sweet. Enjoy every moment of your life. Life is great!

“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” ―Confucius

Building Resilience

“Everyone falls, but those who get back to the feet are resilient.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

Humans are blessed with resilience. We can overcome any kind of challenge. We are blessed with the power of imagination and creativity. Currently, we are bouncing back from the coronavirus. We bounced from global financial crises. We bounced back after the terrorist attacks. Resilience is the hallmark of the human spirit.

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from failures. I encountered a lot of failures in my life and bounced back. I was down many times, but I was never out. Resilience is a trait anyone can inculcate. Leaders must be resilient. If things don't fall into place, they must take a pause, reflect a lot, and bounce back to move forward. Leaders including Abraham Lincoln and George Washington were resilient. They bounced back from several failures. We can learn lessons from them.

Build a strong team. Build supportive networks to bounce back from failures. Parents must teach their children to face challenges and be resilient.

This too shall pass!

Be flexible and adaptable. Embrace change. Be mentally prepared for challenges and changes. Be prepared for volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. To conclude, you may be down, but you will never be out if you are resilient.

“You may be down, but you will never be out if you are resilient.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

Life is too Short to Suffer―Sunday Motivation

“Educators must become great accelerators and facilitators. They must create curiosity in students and provide a conducive environment for students to learn.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

Develop the right attitude towards life. Think of what you can control and what you cannot control. Don’t brood over the things that are beyond your control. It is rightly said that below-average individuals talk about individuals, average individuals talk about issues, and above individuals talk about ideas. So, explore ideas for issues. For every problem, there is a solution. Be part of the solution, not the problem. Take action.  Keep moving forward. Lead your life with purpose meaning.

Turn Challenges into Opportunities

"You rarely get things on a platter. There's no such thing as a free lunch. Everything comes at a cost. You must work hard, work smart, and work wisely to establish yourself and achieve success. If anything comes easily, it goes away easily. So, work hard to succeed in your life.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

The world is full of challenges and opportunities. It all depends on how you perceive the world. You can explore opportunities from challenges and complaints. It depends on your mindset. The world is shifting from a knowledge-based economy into a technology-based economy. There are immense opportunities globally.

You came to this world happily. You must leave the world happily. So, give your best every day to your family, community, and society. I was born into a toxic family and grew up in a toxic environment. I did not complain. I found my own way of exploring opportunities. I dropped out of college at the age of 18 and joined the Indian Air Force and became a soldier. I acquired several qualifications including Ph.D. in soft skills.

Message: Be part of the solution, not the problem.

Life Is All About Service

“If someone asks me a question, ‘What is it you see when you look out the window that is visible but not yet seen by others’ I will answer, ‘I see a world filled with people with a huge potential lying untapped. If I can identify their strengths and inspire them to unlock their potential, I feel that I have made a difference in the world.’” —Professor M.S. Rao

Life is all about service. I served customers in a tea stall in my childhood. I served my nation in the Indian Air Force as a soldier. I served customers in my business as an entrepreneur. I served students in educational institutions as a professor. I serve local communities through nonprofits. I serve by sharing my knowledge freely with the world and with my Vision 2030. Everyone must serve in their capacities.

When you look at Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela, they served their societies. Nothing is greater than serving others with a great heart. We live in a world where is a huge competition for takers and the least competition for givers. So, be a giver and serve your societies and communities to build a better world.

Message: Make a difference in the lives of others.

Believe in Your Dreams

“Be passionate, persistent, and patient. There is nothing like an overnight success. Work hard, wise, and smart to stand out from others. I failed many times in my life. I fail every day. But I don't have any regrets because I learn lessons and move on with valuable takeaways.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

You must believe in your dreams whether your parents believe in your dreams or not, your family believes in your dreams or not, and your peers believe in your dreams or not. I am unemployed for more than five years without any regular income. I still pursue my goals because I believe in my dreams. Things often don’t fall into place. Ensure that things fall into place. Don't complain. Be a strategist. Be an optimist. Explore opportunities.

Message: Never give up.

Life Is All About Service

There's No Such Thing as a Free Lunch

“Be passionate, persistent, and patient. There is nothing like an overnight success. Work hard, wise, and smart to stand out from others. I failed many times in my life. I fail every day. But I don't have any regrets because I learn lessons and move on with valuable takeaways.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

I often tell my students that there is no free lunch in this world. I rose from humble origins with a toxic family background. When I was 18 years old, I dropped out of college to support my family and joined the Indian Air Force. I had to struggle hard to earn my livelihood. I sacrificed my personal time, invested a portion of my monthly salary and resources, and acquired several qualifications including DME, BSc, MA, MBA, PGDCLL, and PGDBM. I earned my Ph.D. in 2011. I understand the pain of life. I am a self-made man. I have come to know that nothing is free in this world.

The government often says it offers certain things free to its citizens. But the fact is that people pay by way of taxes. That is the reality. The concept of things are free is a myth indeed!

You rarely get things on a platter. There is no free lunch in the world. Nothing is free. Everything comes at a cost. You must work hard, work smart, and work wisely to establish yourself and achieve success. If anything comes easily, it goes away easily. So, work hard to succeed in your life. To conclude, nothing is free. You pay for it.

How to Promote Your YouTube Channel?

“Be passionate, persistent, and patient. There is nothing like an overnight success. Work hard, wise, and smart to stand out from others. I failed many times in my life. I fail every day. But I don't have any regrets because I learn lessons and move on with valuable takeaways.” ―Professor M.S. Rao

When I received appreciation from the YouTube channel in December 2020, I was truly excited. I created a new channel exclusively on life leadership URL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS96rAuytHQOjFqyrCq7x-A I learned several new things while creating the channel. In this blog post, I will discuss the tools and techniques to promote your YouTube channel.

There are some potential areas you can explore including learning, gaming, shopping, unboxing, reviewing products and services, health, climate change, urbanization, and increasing middle-class people globally.

Consider the following aspects. Have a clear vision for each social media account. You can create 100 channels in one google account. You can use Unamo Social Media to locate influencers in your sphere of interest and reach out to them to promote your video content. You can check the most viewed or oldest or newest added videos through a button. Focus on evergreen and trending topics equally to ensure instant visibility and longevity. Take feedback from analytics to customize and cater your content accordingly. Acquire expertise in video editing, video production, social media. Ask your listeners to subscribe to your channel. Create subtitles to enable the disabled people to listen and audiences who may not be able to listen to them. Premier your videos to create hope and hype.

Tools to Promote Your Channel

Here are some tools and techniques to promote your channel. Be unique, work hard, and post consistently. Keep your video for 5 minutes. Keep the title short and sweet. Categorize each video when you upload. Publish on YouTube with Sprout Social. Hold 'polls' in the community tab on your channel. Use a keyword tool like KeywordTool.io, which is specific to YouTube, to look for the most searched keywords in the niche you’re looking to target. Most YouTubers use DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, along with other essential accessories for videography such as tripods, lenses, and studio lighting. Use a tool, like Hootsuite for YouTube. With Hootsuite, you can easily upload, schedule, and promote your YouTube marketing videos across multiple social networks from one dashboard. Browse YouTube Live. Join live streams and get your channel reviewed. Use “Google Trends” to stay abreast of trends. Cross-promote your video on our other social networks. Ask your family and friends to share with their network. Create a channel trailer for new visitors–a 30-60 seconds-long channel trailer. Take feedback. Reinvent. Adopt updated tools and technologies to become successful.

“Education is a lifelong process. It is a great amplifier and accelerator. It must help us learn to live sustainably. It must create curiosity and open the minds of students. It must ignite the minds of the students and help them convert information into knowledge.” ―Professor M.S. Rao
