Mental Illness is a Grave Threat to Humankind

“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.” —Glenn Close

Mental illness is a grave threat to humankind. There are increased cases of mental illness resulting in suicides globally. In this post, we will discuss mental illness and how to address it effectively.

The Bollywood film industry is shedding crocodile tears over the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. He was driven to suicide due to politics in the film industry. His career dipped due to inner politics in the film industry. He was left with no option but to commit suicide. But suicide is not the solution to several challenges in society. People must fight back to establish and prove themselves.

Tips to Overcome Mental Illness

Here are some tips to overcome your mental health issues. Don’t feel shy to open up yourself. Talk to your reliable friends to share your inner emotions and feelings. Eat well and exercise regularly to build your energy levels. Do meditation or yoga. Read good books. Surround with positive and healthy people. Listen to soft music. Travel to unwind. Have sex regularly. Look at the door that is opened. Have an attitude of gratitude. Express your gratitude to God everyday morning for gifting one more day to live and add value to others. Consult the doctor if you feel that you are unable to control the symptoms. Don’t treat it as a sigma. Remember that one in four in the world has mental health issues.

Mental illness is worse than coronavirus as it kills people silently and regularly. Remember that life is short and cutting it shorter by committing suicide is deplorable.
