Professor M.S. Rao’s Legacy Statement: Sharing Knowledge Freely with One Billion People Globally—21st-Century Philosopher & The Father of “Soft Leadership”

“I am 62 years of age and a survivor of a brain stroke that occurred in 2021. My upbringing was not characterized by luxury; on the contrary, I was raised in a toxic familial environment and polluted surroundings. I do not possess either a motorcycle or an automobile. Furthermore, I do not receive any pension or a consistent income. My life is marked by numerous struggles and hardships, including mental, physical, and financial challenges. Nevertheless, despite these adversities, I have managed to rise from the ashes like a phoenix.” ―Professor M.S. Rao, Ph.D.—21st-Century Philosopher & The Father of “Soft Leadership

I crafted a vision to build one million students as global leaders by 2030 URL: http://professormsraovision2030.blogspot.in/2014/12/professor-m-s-raos-vision-2030-one_31.html as I am passionate about students and leadership. I also have a vision to share knowledge freely with one billion people globally in my lifetime to leave a legacy. Life is short and I must contribute my best meaningfully to the global society before I depart this world. I have only knowledge, not money. So, I have been sharing my knowledge freely with the world through my blogs and LinkedIn since 2007. I get immense pleasure through it although I don't earn any money from it. I do it despite financial constraints and without any regular flow of income for the last five years.

Although I am below average in intelligence I am blessed with curiosity and imagination. I used my imagination to create a vision to share my knowledge. I have created the following vision statement:

My vision is to build one million students as global leaders.

My vision is to help students unleash their hidden potential.

My vision is to help students succeed in every area of their lives to accomplish their dreams.

My vision is to help unsuccessful students become successful students.

My vision is to help successful students become even more successful students.

My vision is to inspire students to dream big and achieve big.

My vision is to share knowledge freely with one billion people globally.

My vision is to pioneer global peace, prosperity, stability, and security.

Make an Impact Globally

"I shall pass this way but once. Therefore any good that I can do, or any kindness that I can show, let me do it now for I shall not pass this way again." —William Penn

People are born and dead every day but we remember only a few great leaders including Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela for adding value to the society with their service. For them, to serve is to lead. Therefore, add value within your available resources to make a difference and build a better world.

"You are not here merely to make a living. You are here to enable the world to live more amply, with great vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” ―Woodrow Wilson

You Cannot Expect a Problem-Free Society—Professor M.S. Rao, Ph.D.—21st-Century Philosopher & The Father of “Soft Leadership”

“We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our responsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can improve the solutions, and pass them on." Richard P. Feynman.

In India, people often blame politicians for all the problems. Politicians are the biggest scapegoats in democracy as politicians cannot talk against people for fear of losing votes from them during elections. Politicians often present smiling faces despite being criticized by people. People have so many expectations and they know that they can't accomplish. They take solace by blaming politicians. People make several mistakes and ultimately they pin responsibility on politicians.

People must know that politicians have come from people only. People must know the slogan that people get the government they deserve. Next time when you blame politicians blame yourself first as you have elected such politicians. Next time when you pin responsibility on politicians think about yourself first and how responsible you are.

John C. Maxwell says in his book Be All You Can Be, "We have developed a society in which people would rather take the easy way out; we have become a relief-syndrome culture. This type of society does not make good leadership training grounds. But those who are willing to pay the price will make it, and the world will sit back and wonder how these successful men and women ever got so lucky. Luck has nothing to do with it; they were simply willing to do what all the rest of the people were unwilling to do."

You cannot expect a problem-free society. Problems will be there as long as man is there. If people don't have any problems, then they will be in the graveyard. Hence, let us not blame politicians for all the problems we face. We must learn to face the problems squarely so that we can grow stronger and wiser and pass on a better society to the next generation.
