Is Social Media a Necessary Evil?
There is a debate about whether social media is good
or bad. Social media is a double-edged sword. You must know how to use it
effectively. Social media is a currency currently. You can showcase your
talents, skills, and abilities. You can get lots of opportunities including
employment and explore entrepreneurship. You can share your knowledge and add
value to others. you can build your brand. You can explore opportunities
globally. It is cost-effective and quick to reach out to others. However, it
kills your time and distracts you from your goals and objectives if you are
addicted to it.
If you take alcohol moderately, it is good. If you
take alcohol excessively, you become an alcoholic. Similarly, use social media
moderately, not excessively to avoid becoming an addict. Social media was a
boon during the coronavirus spreading awareness, connecting people globally, and
bringing them into one platform.
Once watching television was condemnable. Now
children are glued to smartphones. We cannot stop it. But we must take
appropriate precautions to use them wisely.
We cannot do away with social media. We must adapt
as per the changing times and technologies. Throwing social media is like throwing
the baby out with the bathwater. You have to draw a thin line and fine line
somewhere with the usage of social media.
Don’t get addicted to social media. Use it
judiciously. Use it for educational and marketing purposes. Harness it wisely.
Fix some specific time for it every day and follow it religiously. Don't get
distracted from your goals. To conclude, treat social media as an ally, not an
enemy.

How to Be the Best Version of Yourself?
"In the long run, the sharpest weapon of all is
a kind and gentle spirit." ―Anne Frank.
When
you want to become a better human being, you must become a better version of
yourself. You must associate with healthy people and positive people. You must
avoid naysayers. You must work on your strengths. You must become a lifelong
learner. You must read great books.
Instead
of playing games and viewing pornography, use your previous time productively
for reading to become a better human. Use your precious time and energies for
doing great things. Serve others with a kind heart. Nothing is greater than serving
humanity. When you look at leaders including Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa,
Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela, they became the best version of
themselves and became the greatest leaders in the world.
Takeaway:
When you become the best version of yourself, you can become the best leader.

Stay Away From Negative People
“I
believe in achieving success with integrity which is often ridiculed by many
people. Ultimately it is the ethics and etiquette that will make you a great
leader in the long run.” —Professor M.S. Rao
Naysayers
are negative people who often talk about negative things. They discourage you.
They have a negative mindset and create litigations for you. They want an easy
and rosy life without working hard. They suck your energy. They are part of the
problem, not the solution. They carry forward negative information. They thrive
on negativity. They cannot lead a peaceful and happy life. They don’t allow
others to live in peace and happiness. The pity is that they end up with
litigations. They end up as unsuccessful people. They end up incognito. So,
stay away from them. Ignore them, if they come to you. Remove them from your
mind forever.
The
right people will come and stay with you while the wrong people go away from
you. So, don't regret it when wrong people go away from you. Be truly excited
and celebrate their exit. Associate with positive and healthy people. Choose
good friends. Avoid negative friends. Don't let negative people who treat you
unworthy.
Engage
with productive people. You create positive vibrations. You can inspire others
and make a difference in their lives. We all know that life is short. To
conclude, be assertive and stay away from naysayers.

How to Come out of Your Toxic Family?
“I
rose from humble origins with a toxic family background. When I was 18 years
old, I dropped out of college to support my parents and joined the Indian Air
Force. I had to struggle hard to earn my livelihood. I sacrificed my personal
time, invested a portion of my monthly salary and resources, and acquired
several qualifications including DME, BSc, MA, MBA, PGDCLL, and PGDBM. I earned
my Ph.D. in 2011. I understand the pain of life. I am a self-made man. I have
come to know that there's no such thing as a free lunch.” ―Professor M.S. Rao
I
was born into a toxic family and grew up in a toxic environment. My childhood
was like a hell. I enjoyed reading books. I did not have many friends. I
supported my parents in a tea stall. I was not getting the right ambiance to
pursue my education. I dropped out of college to support my parents and joined
the Indian Air Force as a soldier. The military life was tough and challenging
but I found it far better than my toxic family. I enjoyed interacting with
positive people in the Indian Air Force. I became organized and grew as a
disciplined citizen and as a leader. Here is how you can come out of your toxic
family background. Connect with healthy and positive people. Explore options to
come out of it. Forgive your toxic family and siblings. Support them as much as
you can because you were born into it. Forget the bad memories. Engage with
creative people. Invest in healthy relationships. Inspire people around you.
You cannot choose your parents and children. You can only choose your spouse
and career. You can choose your friends wisely who can support you. So, don't
regret being born into a toxic family. Don't carry emotional baggage. Forgive
them and forget negative people. Spend your time with the people who support
you. Don’t feel guilty that you were born to toxic parents. It is better to
separate rather than to live with toxic family members and suffer.
Conclusion
Lotus
blooms from the mud. Some of the greatest people were born into toxic family
background and inspired the world. They chose to be different and became
trailblazers. Stay inspired.
