COVID19: Lockdown Extension in India

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” ―Martin Luther King, Jr.

Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi extended the present lockdown until May 03, 2020. It is a step in the right direction to prevent coronavirus from spreading further. He outlined the following seven points:
  1. Ensure the elderly take precautions.
  2. Follow social distancing, use homemade masks.
  3. Boost your immunity – look for guidelines issued by the Ayush ministry.
  4. Download and use the Aarogya Setu mobile app.
  5. Help the poor and the needy.
  6. Have empathy for people employed in your business.
  7. Respect coronavirus warriors including nurses and the medical workers.

Everyone must follow the guidelines. It is not the time to politicize the issue. Let us keep our political and ideological differences aside to save precious human lives. We must follow the guidelines strictly in the larger interests of the people and India. Express your gratitude to the frontline workers who are risking their lives to protect the people. Let us show to the coronavirus that we humans are much smarter, sharper and stronger.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” —Joseph P. Kennedy

COVID-19: Express Gratitude to Frontline Workers

“One kind word can warm three winter months.” —Japanese Proverb

Several people are working round the clock at this hour of the global crisis. It is tough to mention all the departments. We can precisely call them frontline workers who are working hard to stop coronavirus and save humankind. They can be called frontline warriors and the real heroes and heroines who work for satisfaction, not for recognition. Kudos to them! The world and humanity cannot survive without them. Let us salute these warriors who are risking their lives to save humankind.

“Only a life lived in the service to others is worth living.” —Albert Einstein
