Bad Children are a Liability for Parents―Share if You Care!

Bad children are a curse to parents. No parent wants to have bad children but some parents are cursed with bad children. In this post, I will discuss the characteristics of bad children and appropriate measure be taken to shape children as successful personalities.

Parenting is a challenging task and a thankless job. Some children betray their parents. Even then, parents must care for their children. Some of the terrorists, anti-social elements and anti-nationals are disowned by their parents. Most parents preach good things to their children. What can parents do when their children don’t listen to them? Mahatma Gandhi was cursed with a bad son―Harilal. He disowned Harilal when the latter went into the wrong paths. At times, good parents are cursed with bad children.

Characteristics of Bad Children

Here are some qualities of bad children. They think negative and approach others negatively. They create a negative circle of friends who take them to negative paths. They beat their fathers and backstab their mothers. They have sex and produce illegitimate children. They create litigations to divide siblings, parents, relatives, and friends. They deceive their own friends and relatives. They get cheated ultimately.

If there are bad apples, they can be removed easily but bad children cannot be rejected by parents. Therefore, parents must take the necessary steps to reform their children as far as possible to convert them into healthy citizens and successful personalities.

Shape Children as Successful Personalities

The personality of an individual depends on heredity, environment, and situation. The things acquired from heredity is hard to change whereas the environment in which an individual grows can be changed. Parents must take extra care to create a conducive environment for their children. They must constantly check whether their children are in the company of wrong friends. They must check whether their children are bunking school, taking drugs and resorting to gun culture. Individual changes as per the situation but an individual with a strong character cannot be influenced by situations and circumstances.

Every parent wants to offer better opportunities for their children. If they are not equipped with adequate resources, they still give their best to their children within the available resources. If parents are not in a financial position, children must work hard and establish themselves. Children must have fire in their bellies to excel as successful personalities. They must be part of the solution, not the problem.

Every parent wants their children to be successful and add value to society. Unfortunately, some children choose to lead a problematic life and end up with a fiasco. They blame their parents until they become parents. To summarize, parents must lead their children by example. They must walk their talk. There must not be any credibility gap. They must sacrifice their lives to build worthy and successful children to build better generations.
